Who We Are

Our Story

Direct2U Services was created with one clear purpose: to bring compassionate, reliable, and person-centred care directly into the homes of children and adults who need it most.

Our journey is built on extensive experience across health and social care, supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, mental health needs, dementia, complex health conditions, and those navigating significant life transitions. Through this work, we recognised a consistent need for care that is not only high quality, but truly responsive to the individual - care that listens, adapts, and works in partnership with families.

Direct2U was established to deliver a better approach: one grounded in dignity, respect, empowerment, and genuine human connection. We believe people should be seen as individuals, not defined by their needs, and that care should build on strengths, promote independence, and involve families at every stage.

Today, we provide high-quality, personalised home care and support that enables children and adults to live safely, confidently, and as independently as possible. Our approach combines professional expertise with warmth and compassion. We take the time to understand each person, tailoring support that fits around their life, routines, and goals.

Whether supporting a young person developing independence, assisting a family through transition, or helping someone remain in the comfort of their own home, our commitment remains the same: to deliver care that is personal, accountable, and makes a meaningful difference.

As we continue to grow, our values remain at the heart of everything we do - strengthening independence, supporting families, and providing care people can trust.

Our Mission

“To provide professional care that promotes independence through partnership working - placing the individual at the heart of every decision we make.”

What We Stand For

Our Values and Principles

Every member of the Direct2U team works in accordance with our operational values and principles of care. These are not simply words on a page - they are the foundation of every care plan, every home visit, and every interaction we have with the people we support.

Dignity and Respect

We treat every individual with the dignity, respect, and privacy they deserve - always. We preserve each person's right to make their own choices, hold their own beliefs, and live according to their own values.

Person-Centred Care

Care plans are built around each individual through joint consultation with the service user, their carers, family members, social workers, and health professionals. No two people's needs are the same, and we never treat them as though they are.

Promoting Independence

Our goal is not to create dependency - it is to empower the people we support to maintain and improve their independent living skills for as long as possible, in the way that is right for them.

Transparency and Communication

We maintain clear, open, and honest communication with service users, their carers, families, and all relevant professionals. Strong relationships are built on trust, and trust is built on transparency.

Confidentiality

We ensure the strict confidentiality of every service user's personal information, in full compliance with UK GDPR and data protection legislation. Information is shared only on a need-to-know basis.

Partnership and Collaboration

We collaborate closely with social workers, GPs, mental health teams, schools, advocates, and other agencies to ensure each service user receives the most holistic, coordinated care possible.

Direct2U Care supporting independent living at home in Enfield and North London - our purpose
Our Purpose

Why Home Care Matters

Meeting the Growing Demand for Quality Home Care

Government initiatives across the United Kingdom aim to promote independent living and encourage people to be cared for in their own homes wherever possible. This is not simply a policy preference - it reflects what the vast majority of people want for themselves and their loved ones.

In a society where families are often geographically dispersed, many adults cannot rely solely on family support. The responsibility falls on trusted care providers to fill that gap with professionalism, consistency, and genuine compassion.

Direct2U exists precisely for this purpose. We provide professional care that promotes independence through active partnership with social services, health professionals, community organisations, schools, and advocates - ensuring every person we support receives coordinated, holistic care.

We are proud to be part of the wider health and social care ecosystem across London, helping to keep people safe, well, and independent in the place they love most - their own home.
