Home Care Worker

Full-time & Part-time
Enfield & North London

Support adults in their own homes with personal care, daily living tasks, and companionship. No two days are the same.

Requirements: Caring nature, reliability, good communication. Previous experience desirable but not essential — full training provided.

Senior Care Worker

Full-time
Enfield & North London

Lead a small team of care workers, support care plan reviews, and act as first point of contact for service users and families.

Requirements: Minimum 2 years' care experience, NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards).

Support Worker — Learning Disabilities

Full-time & Part-time
Enfield & North London

Provide specialist support to adults with learning disabilities, promoting independence, community access, and personal development.

Requirements: Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities. PBS training desirable.

Care Coordinator

Full-time
Enfield Office

Coordinate care packages, manage rotas, conduct service user reviews, and liaise with families and health professionals.

Requirements: Minimum 3 years' care experience, strong organisational skills, driving licence preferred.

Registered Nurse (Community)

Full-time
Enfield & North London

Deliver clinical care in people's own homes, including medication administration, wound care, and health monitoring.

Requirements: Valid NMC registration, current clinical competencies, community care experience preferred.

A Day in the Life of a Direct2U Carer

Here is a typical day for one of our dedicated care workers — every day is different, but every day is meaningful.

8:00am

Morning Visits Begin

Arrive at your first service user's home to help with their morning routine — washing, dressing, breakfast, and medication.

10:30am

Check-in with the Office

A quick call or message to the care coordinator to flag any updates or concerns from morning visits.

12:00pm

Lunchtime Support

Assist a service user with preparing and eating their lunch, spending time in meaningful conversation.

2:00pm

Companionship Visit

Spend time with an elderly service user who lives alone — chatting, helping with correspondence, or accompanying them for a short walk.

4:00pm

Afternoon Personal Care

Support an adult with physical disabilities with their afternoon personal care routine, following their care plan precisely.

5:30pm

End-of-Day Notes

Log your visit notes in the care management system, ensuring accurate records for continuity of care.
