Who We Are

Our Story

From a Clear Mission to a Trusted Name in Care

Direct2U Care Limited was founded with a clear and unwavering purpose — to provide compassionate, high-quality care that enables adults to live independently in their own homes and communities.

We recognised that, in a society where families are not always on hand locally for support, the responsibility for safe, consistent, and dignified care falls on trusted providers. That is where Direct2U steps in — professionally, reliably, and always with the individual at the centre of everything we do.

Based at 309 Hertford Road, Enfield, we have grown into a trusted provider of domiciliary care, supported living, and specialist support across North and East London. We support adults with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, dementia, physical disabilities, autism, brain injuries, and those in palliative care.

Our care team is as diverse as the communities we serve. We are proud to employ European, African, and Asian care professionals — bringing cultural understanding, empathy, and skill that directly benefit the people in our care.

Our Mission

“To provide professional care that promotes independence through partnership working — placing the individual at the heart of every decision we make.”

What We Stand For

Our Values and Principles

Every member of the Direct2U team works in accordance with our operational values and principles of care. These are not simply words on a page — they are the foundation of every care plan, every home visit, and every interaction we have with the people we support.

Dignity and Respect

We treat every individual with the dignity, respect, and privacy they deserve — always. We preserve each person's right to make their own choices, hold their own beliefs, and live according to their own values.

Person-Centred Care

Care plans are built around each individual through joint consultation with the service user, their carers, family members, social workers, and health professionals. No two people's needs are the same, and we never treat them as though they are.

Promoting Independence

Our goal is not to create dependency — it is to empower the people we support to maintain and improve their independent living skills for as long as possible, in the way that is right for them.

Transparency and Communication

We maintain clear, open, and honest communication with service users, their carers, families, and all relevant professionals. Strong relationships are built on trust, and trust is built on transparency.

Confidentiality

We ensure the strict confidentiality of every service user's personal information, in full compliance with UK GDPR and data protection legislation. Information is shared only on a need-to-know basis.

Partnership and Collaboration

We collaborate closely with social workers, GPs, mental health teams, schools, advocates, and other agencies to ensure each service user receives the most holistic, coordinated care possible.

Our Purpose

Why Home Care Matters

Meeting the Growing Demand for Quality Home Care

Government initiatives across the United Kingdom aim to promote independent living and encourage people to be cared for in their own homes wherever possible. This is not simply a policy preference — it reflects what the vast majority of people want for themselves and their loved ones.

In a society where families are often geographically dispersed, many adults cannot rely solely on family support. The responsibility falls on trusted care providers to fill that gap with professionalism, consistency, and genuine compassion.

Direct2U exists precisely for this purpose. We provide professional care that promotes independence through active partnership with social services, health professionals, community organisations, schools, and advocates — ensuring every person we support receives coordinated, holistic care.

We are proud to be part of the wider health and social care ecosystem in North London, helping to keep people safe, well, and independent in the place they love most — their own home.
